Hibiscus & Cacao Nib Bark

An exotic melody of flavors, crunch, and cool. This nutrient-rich treat may just make you feel like you’re taking a stroll through an enchanted rain forest.


Recipe

yield: 4 servings

Ingredients:

1 cup vanilla Greek yogurt

2 Tablespoons dried hibiscus, coarsely ground (you can use a mortar and pestle or a heavy pan to grind)

2 Tablespoons cacao nibs

1/2 Tablespoon honey


Directions:

  1. Spread yogurt onto a parchment paper lined sheet pan using a spatula or back or a spoon.

  2. Sprinkle all over with hibiscus and cacao nibs. Drizzle with honey.

  3. Freeze for at least 1 hour. Break into 2 inch pieces and transfer to a ziplock bag or airtight container. *Store in freezer.
