(yield: 8 mini waffles)
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 tsp baking powder
1, 5.3 oz container blueberry almond yogurt
1/2 cup milk of choice
1 TBSP avocado oil, or any other plant-based oil
1 tsp orange zest
1/4 cup fresh blackberries
Preheat mini waffle iron and spray with cooking spray.
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Mix remaining ingredients together in a separate smaller bowl. Pour wet ingredients over dry. Using a fork, mash blackberries slightly while mixing together batter.
Pour 1/4 cup of batter into preheated waffle iron and cook 1-2 minutes. Repeat until all of the batter is used.
